Online Musical Chairs

I had an idea for some fun. It's an old idea and I really don't have a great new twist on it but I want to try it anyway. It's like a "Name That Tune" but with a common link between the songs. I'll put up a link to an MP3 with clips from songs. You can clink on it or right-click and download it. Your job is to identify the songs and ultimately, what these songs have in common. It could be anything, song titles, band names, lyrics, whatever. Depending on the link, I'll try to include a bunch of songs from different genres. That way you may not know all of the songs but you can still get the link from the ones you do know. You can use Google and search for lyrics, you can download the songs, you can do whatever you want.
While I may have periodic bouts with a deep messianic complex, I am aware that I am not infallible. The perceived link will almost always be subjective and there may be a song here and there that I include that you may not think fits the link. Oh well, I can't be perfect.
So, what do you get for all your hard work? What ever happened to "just for the fun of doing it"? I was thinking about sending the first person with the right answer some junk from my den. All the stuff I'm having to clean out but don't want to throw away, making you guys take it all. But then I figured, why punish all of you? So, what I'll do is post the name of the first person who e-mails me the correct answer and I'll link to their website, MySpace page, charity website or whatever. Maybe two people? The first to get the link and the one who identifies the most songs? We'll see how this goes. If anyone plays along or not. I would like any feedback you have like, it was too easy or too hard, there are too many songs, not enough and why you think so. I'd like to keep improving this until it is something you look forward to.
I had a new e-mail address for this. It was MusicQuiz@drummingbigbear.com (I have since changed domains and now that I have killed off the music quiz, changing the e-mail in here would be a moot point.) This is the address at which I'll be looking for your answers. For those of you who e-mail me all the time, I'll probably get them at my regular e-mail addresses but I'll be looking for them at the new address and if they're all in one place, there's no doubt as to who e-mailed first.
