Hey guys! I had fun, what about you? I thought it was a good run. It's just too difficult to keep this going when it's just two people (and occasionally another one will put in a guess) so I'm calling it quits. I've put off updating this for a month now and no one has even noticed so I guess it's pretty obvious that this endeavor was a dead end. Most of the reasons I've heard was that you guys didn't really have the time to play along so, going on that input, I'll cut this down before I put too much wasted energy into it.

Ok kids, here's your chance to get the music quiz before Teresa. We're here in Disney World for our anniversary trip and she won't be able to study the quiz until Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. I can't stop Jeff and Trish from buzzing in right away but I'm not sure I want to. Without them and Teresa, I think I'll be without any players at all!
Last week's quiz was so very easy, I thought I'd throw you a more difficult one this week. It's not impossible but it's not as easy as last week. I'd put it at a 27 on a scale of 3 to 34, unless you happen to already know this one by coincidence. Either way, it is possible; it just might take a little more thought than usual. Good luck!

Ok, we're back. I
wanted to put up a quiz last week but I was just too damn tired. I'm
just NOW returning to earth from all the activities in the last couple
of weeks. I had one in mind
for last week but have pushed it out a little because there were a few
songs that were too similar to the last quiz. So I've come up with a
brand new quiz and I think it's a good one. This one should take
you a tiny bit of thought or possibly research, unless you just happen
to know off-hand... Not impossible but not too
easy either. I had about 25 tracks on this list and had a hard time
squeezing it down. But, I got rid of a lot of the obvious answer tracks
and hopefully you'll have fun with this one. I'm hoping
(expecting) to see a lot more guesses this week. I love my wife and my
brother but I'm not going to keep doing this just for them. Although,
you will have to be pretty fast and thorough to beat them…
Remember, even if they get the link first, you could still identify the

Alright, some of
you have spoken up, some have remained silent, others have disappeared
completely; but the general consensus is;
"Hey, it may not be much but it's fun for those of us that want to
play." So
with that in mind, I will continue to play too. I think spreading
it out to every two weeks is a good idea so I'll be going along with
that too. OK, this week, moderately easy. On a difficulty
scale from one to ten, I give it an eight if you just listen, a five if
you know a handful of the songs and a three if you do any research at
all. Remember, I'm
always looking for TWO answers: the first person with the right link AND the
person that gets the most identified song/artists before the next track
goes out. The plan is to have another quiz out Sunday, April 8th
but that is the Sunday I'm getting home from festival. I'll try to
plan ahead and have one ready to put up here. Number of songs:

Sunday, 3-18-7 I've posted the answers for Quiz #3.
I'm taking the week off this week. I have been running on
"fast-forward" since Thursday and haven't been able to access my
computer since last Sunday. That would make the perfect reason to
say I'm not posting this week. The truth is, I have gotten numerous
comments about how you guys like this, but there was only three
submissions this week and only two submissions for the song/artist list.
Now those two people were absolutely rabid in their thorough research!
but still, if no one else is going to play, maybe we'll spread this out
to every two weeks or something. While I do appreciate the both of
you wracking your brains and playing along with me this week, I've got
to take a break if it's just the three of us. Now, I have gotten your e-mails
saying how much you like this and all so I'm not stopping, I'm glad you
like it! If you are really looking for one this week, just imagine
I put up a super-lame-easy one this week for St. Patrick's Day.
"All the bands were Irish" or something predictable like that... See you guys next week.
Some of you have
said that more songs would be better; some have said that it was just
right; still others have said there were too many. After starting the
new list, I was already up to 75 songs and hadn't even gotten through a
quarter of the library. So, I narrowed down the criteria of the link.
When I was finished, this week's quiz still had 40+ songs at one point.
I pared it down to 30 and actually sampled each of them to put together
the track. I looked over the list and noticed it was a little too
loaded with 80's hair metal (no, that's NOT a hint, it's just that my
entire music collection is weighted on the hair metal side…) so from 30,
I cut the team down to 25 and I think it's a good list. When you send
me your guesses, let me know what you think is an ideal number of
songs. More? Less? Shorter clips? More or no silence between clips? Remember, I'm
looking for TWO answers: the first person with the right link AND the
person that gets the most identified song/artists before the next track
goes out (I'm planning on dropping a new one every Sunday night with few
